Chaplin was born in London and was one of the most financially successful stars of early Hollywood

He was an English comic actor and filmmaker who rose to fame in the era of silent films

He was knighted Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin in 1975 and died two years later

Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin was an English actor, filmmaker, and composer who rose to fame in the era of silent films. He became a worldwide icon through his screen persona "The Tramp" and is considered to be one of the most important figures in the history of the film industry. Chaplin's career spanned a period of 75 years and was filled with both controversy and adulation. He was accused of Communist sympathies and got involved in scandals for marrying a much younger woman. He was knighted Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin in 1975 and died two years later in Switzerland.

1987: Michael Jordan becomes the second NBA Player to score 3000 points in a season

Michael Jeffery Jordan was born on 17 th February 1963 in Brooklyn, New York

He is a well known American Basket Ball Player

He is also well known for his product endorsements and Nike’s Air Jordan Sneakers which was introduced in the year 1985 remains popular even today .

Michael Jeffery Jordan attended Emsley A Laney High School in Wilmington, and this is where he highlighted his athletic career as he actively took part and started playing basket Ball, base Ball, and foot Ball. As a senior, he was selected to the Mc Donald’s All-American Team. After achieving success in the game, he was recruited to numerous basket ball programs including Duke, North Carolina, Syracuse, and Virginia. In 1981 Jordan accepted a Basket Ball scholarship to North Carolina where he majored in Cultural Geography. Forbes Magazine designated Michael Jeffery Jordan as the athlete with highest career earnings in 2017. He was also the third richest African – American in 2017.

2013: Earthquake hits Iran

It experienced 7.8 magnitude earthquake and was the most powerful one to hit the country in the last fifty years

It destroyed a mountainous area between the cities of Saravan and Khash, close to the border of Pakistan

The quake lasted for 25 seconds killing, several people

A massive earthquake hits Iran on 16th April 2013. It recorded a magnitude of about 7.8 on Richter Scale, it was the most powerful earthquake in over last fifty years. It hit the mountainous areas between the cities of Saravan and Khash in Sistan and Baluchistan Province, Iran close to the border of Pakistan. It struck east part of the city of Saravan and the southern part of Pakistan. The duration of the earthquake was 25 seconds, killing several people.
