Dr. Abraham Ebenezer
Dr. Ebenezer is an award winning leader in the field of education. He was for many years the Principal of Bishop Cotton Boys' School before founding Ebenezer International School. He previously served as Secretary of the Federation of Universities and College Teachers Association and as Director of the Department of Collegiate Education for the State of Karnataka.


Dr Ebenezer is an acknowledged leader in the field of education. He has received several awards and honors from India and around the globe.

The Derozio Award –The highest award by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi for the exemplary service to school education and Human enrichment, 2008.

Karnataka State’s highest award, the Rajyotsava Award for Excellence in Education, 2005.

Excellence Award for Schools in India from His Excellency Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, President of India, instituted by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology 2004.

The Paul Harris Award for Global Polio Eradication Initiative of Rotary International from the Rotary Foundation.

Civilian Honour for Academic Regeneration in India, from the State Unitary Enterprises, Moscow, 2000.

Man of the Year for General Achievement by the American Biographical Institute, North Carolina, USA, 1999.

International Excellence Award in the Field of Education by The All India Socio Economic Forum, New Delhi, 1997.

Environment Conservation Award for Pollution Control and Environment from the National Pollution Control and Environment Conservation Committee, Bangalore, 1997
