NSoJ Restaurant Review: Tuck in here for a good time with family and friends

On taste, however, we found it to be rather bland and without much spice

When one enters the busy narrow street of Sahakar Nagar, it is hard to miss the coziest place to hang out with friends and family- Hyderabadi Bawarchi, written and shining on the left side of the road. The smell of Shawarmas and Biryani will definitely pull you towards it. Hyderabadi Bawarchi has very normal Shawarmas with average taste and over-priced. The vegetable dum biryani always comes to the rescue of those vegetarians who wish to find happiness in a delectable dish as Biryani. The right amount of spices with the blend of succulently cooked vegetables, garnished with a hint of charred onions resulted in the perfect amount of colours and flavours to the Biryani. When eaten with accompaniments; raita or mint chutney, it further enriched the taste. But we would suggest it without an accompaniment if one wants to solely enjoy the perks of the flavorsome dish. The other dish, palak paneer and rumali roti truly appeared to be a treat to the eyes. On taste, however, we found it to be rather bland and without much spice. The curry was smooth and a bit tangy. The rumali rotis are priced at 30 rupees a piece and go well with any curry. Overall, there was nothing special to be noted in this dish.

The menu has a lot to offer including both veg and non-vegetarian. A normal meal for two would cost you Rs. 600. They accept cards. Parking is one of the main problems here. There is no private parking space provided by the restaurant. The staff members are very polite and friendly.

The restaurant has dim lights which are perfectly suitable for dinner and it has a very formal vibe to it with 'Andhra style' decors. The place is not very spacious and can accommodate 60 to 80 people at a time. It is air-conditioned and they play mostly Kannada and Hindi music. The place although is crowded most of the time but the staff keep the place quite clean and arranged.
